We decided to use the Cloudflare Warp product to replace our Cisco VPN. It's been frustrating to say the least. The application is always breaking for users and the performance has been horrible. Cloudflare customer service has been useless. The solution was to purchase premium support for $4K a month to attempt to solve basic issues that should have been part of onboarding. Moving to Zscaler.
  • Documentation
  • Customer support
  • Fix known performance issues
The Cloudflare suite is a powerful solution but their Warp product is not baked. Basic customer support leaves a lot to be desired as you will have no access to a technical response unless you pay for premium support. The level one desk is useless.

I recently explored Cloudflare's capabilities and attended their webinar on "Simplifying AI: Building fast, private, and scalable AI apps in the cloud," and I must say, the experience was nothing short of impressive. The webinar provided valuable insights into the challenges of AI application development in the cloud, showcasing Cloudflare's clear understanding of the complexities involved. The emphasis on speed, privacy, and scalability resonated throughout the event, reflecting the platform's commitment to addressing key issues in artificial intelligence. Cloudflare's dedication to speed was a central theme, with a focus on performance optimization through its content delivery network (CDN). Techniques such as image and asset optimization highlighted the platform's commitment to delivering a seamless user experience for AI applications. The webinar commendably underscored Cloudflare's commitment to privacy and security. Detailed discussions on encryption, DDoS protection, and privacy-enhancing features demonstrated the platform's ability to safeguard sensitive AI data without compromising performance. One of the standout features discussed was Cloudflare's scalability solutions. The webinar explained how the platform's edge computing capabilities enable seamless scaling of AI applications. The integration of serverless computing and the ability to deploy code at the edge showcased Cloudflare's commitment to efficiently handling varying workloads. Developer-friendly features were also highlighted, including easy integration with popular AI frameworks and APIs. The demonstration of the user interface and API capabilities emphasized the ease with which developers can deploy and manage AI applications on the Cloudflare platform.I do not have a complete hands-on exploration of Cloudflare's capabilities to affirm further the strengths discussed in the webinar, but their global network reach, with data centers worldwide ensuring low-latency access, is a significant advantage for AI applications requiring real-time processing and Cloudflar's expertise would help in achieving this quickly. The comprehensive security measures, such as SSL/TLS encryption and Web Application Firewall (WAF), instilled confidence in the protection of AI applications from potential threats. Cloudflare's commitment to privacy and security aligns well with the growing concerns surrounding data protection. Smart routing and load balancing mechanisms contribute to optimal performance, a valuable feature for AI applications demanding high availability and responsiveness. The edge computing capabilities enable code execution at edge locations, reducing latency and enhancing overall performance, especially in scenarios requiring real-time decision-making. Finally, Cloudflare emerges as a powerful ally for developers and businesses venturing into AI applications. The platform's commitment to speed, privacy, and scalability positions it as a leading solution for the challenges associated with building fast, private, and scalable AI apps in the cloud. I highly recommend Cloudflare to organizations seeking a robust and developer-friendly platform for their AI endeavors.
  • Web Application Firewall
  • Image and asset optimization
  • Integration with popular AI frameworks and APIs
  • Edge computing capabilities and scaling of AI usage
  • Developer friendly platform for AI Capabilities adoption
  • Complex Privacy rule adoption
Cloudflare is well suited for addressing key issues in AI adoption at pace, highly scalable, and cost-efficient operations. Further in highly technology-competitive areas like IoT and secure communication protocols handling edge computing capability requirements. It is less appropriate for customers with a low digital presence and with no scalable architecture demand.

If you aren't using Cloudflare, you should be. Cloudflare is one of the few companies that seem to think of the solution before you even know it is a problem.
We use Cloudflare to manage our DNS, CDN our web traffic, be a WAP for our applications, manage our DMARC records, provide DDOS protection, and are looking into their Zero Trust network tunnels and we are just barely scratching the surface of their offerings. Their tools are always well thought out, the user interfaces intuitive, and the functionality just works. They are constantly advancing their offerings both existing and expanding in logical directions. Other IT providers should definitely be looking to model their business practices after a company like Cloudflare.
  • Registrar and DNS services are impeccable, with registrations done at cost and without ADs. DNS services setting standards for speed of resolution.
  • DDOS protection. With their content distribution network to back them they have the bandwidth and tools to be both proactive and reactive to bad actors.
  • WAF - Their Web Application Firewall helps mitigate common site vulnerabilities and has active zero-day protection running for breaking exploits
  • Restricting SSO to enterprise accounts disadvantages smaller organizations using products like Google Workspace
Cloudflare scales from the smallest organizations (right down to personal domain use) to the largest (I believe IBM Cloud is white labeling their services). It is intuitive and evolves at a steady pace. I would say that their biggest drawback is that they provide so many different functions under one roof, but it is also designed to allow you to start small and expand as needs and time allows. I recommend looking into them to manage your domains and DNS records to start, and then expand from there.

We are new to cloudflare and have been with within our cybersecurity teams to understand the product a bit more, mostly in the areas of domain management services. We manage our infrastructure on Azure and need to identify the solution that will work seamlessly. We are also looking into other capabilities within this product.
  • Domain managment
  • Network security
  • None at this time
We are still evaluating the product capabilities.

Cloudflare is a complex product offering, but for us it primarily addresses a whole bunch of security issues (WAF, DDoS protection, bot protection, endpoint protection etc) as well as web asset delivery (CDN) and the ability to knit together complicated systems, often with legacy components.
  • DNS
  • WAF
  • DDoS protection
  • CDN
  • HTTP traffic transmogrification on the fly
  • Their UI is notable for simplicity but has room for improvement indeed, both in UX and especially for cohesiveness across feature sets
  • It would be nice to have better linkage between some of the more complex things in the UI and the documentation
  • Documentation can always be improved
Cloudflare seems to be a no-brainer if you need DDoS protection and/or WAF. The rest depends on your needs, requirements and constraints. It is tempting to consolidate DNS, CDN and possibly domain registration functionality, if you feel confident it won't harm your risk/redundancy profile. If you have a heterogeneous or hybrid network architecture, they might be handy in knitting it all together. Their SASE and ZTNA solutions also look really promising, but these are complicated enough that a very thorough examination is required before considering application.

We use our websites for DNS service, firewall protection, traffic analysis and caching. We are protected from bot attacks that are made for malicious purposes and to make the website unable to serve. Cloudflare has a very good service against bot attacks. Thanks to the CDN service it offers, it caches websites and ensures that they are loaded in a shorter time.
  • DDoS Protection
  • DNS service
  • CDN
  • Page Rules
  • Load Balancing
  • The location of the menus in the administration panel changes a lot. The interface design is constantly updated. This is both a good feature and a bad feature.
It is very useful in cases such as getting an SSL certificate for your applications, protecting from DDoS attacks, analyzing your traffic. If your site doesn't have a custom caching method, Cloudflare can do it for you. It optimizes the size of your images and provides you with a CDN service. It provides a service focused on security, performance and continuity to your site.It will solve your problem if your site is getting hacked and your site is loading late. It is also cost-effective, as it does these over DNS instead of a server.

  • Low Cost
  • good to for DDoS attack
  • it's make the website is faster
  • Cache management will be there
  • Domain Control and DNS Management
  • Chat and Mail Support need to be improve
  • Some time it will block genuine traffic also

We get our domain name system services from Cloudfare. We run on cPanel, and cPanel runs on Cloudfare for its DNS service. Cloudflare can automatically import DNS records for you. Its UI is both elegant and straightforward. The domain name system (DNS) propagation time is incredibly fast. Cloudfare's content delivery network (CDN) component reduces website loading times. In addition, setting it up is a breeze. In a matter of minutes, we can begin. For sites with a lot of concurrent users, this is a useful tool.
  • More quickly, consistently, and safely.
  • It offers a gorgeous and intuitive user interface that is incredibly easy to use.
  • Contains a Content Delivery Network (CDN) Feature that enables users to view Internet content, webpages, and videos more quickly.
  • In order to configure Cloudfare's DNS Servers, a resource with experience is required.
  • During the process of establishing DNS, your email configuration is vulnerable to interference from third parties.
  • The costs of the premium plans are a little high.
If you already have a solution that manages the infrastructure, then you won't be able to utilize this tool at all if your website is one of the smaller ones that doesn't require it. If you find yourself in a position to make use of it, I urge you to register for the service's free trial; I have no doubt that you will come to adore it and want to include it into your daily life.

Cloudflare is the best tool you will find to handle your DNS. It is higly configurable and has all the features you would like to see. We used it to handle over 15 domains with ease.
  • security
  • Bot prevention
  • Analytics
  • WAF
  • Pricing scheme
  • Multi domain editing
  • Premade Apps
For some smaller websites, this tool my not be needed or if your solution already handles the infraestructure then you woudnt be able to use it at all.
If you are able to use it, my recomendation is go to the website and sign in for the free solution, most likely you will end up loving it and adopting it.

Cloudflare makes it easy for DNS Management for all of WordPress websites. With its intuitive user interface, we can quickly set up our domain name servers and configure settings in just a few clicks. We can also manage multiple domains from a single account, making it simpler than ever to keep track of all your websites. From a security standpoint, Cloudflare is unmatched. It uses advanced DDoS protection techniques to effectively prevent malicious attacks on our websites.
  • Dns Management
  • Content Delivery Network (CDN)
  • Speed Optimization
  • DDoS protection
  • Great Documentation and Knowledge Base
  • Integrated Analytics
  • Pricing Structure for Plans
  • Interface Customization
We mainly use it for DNS management in Cloud Services such as Digital Ocean. We also benefit from malware attacks, high spikes in traffic and overall performance. On the other hand, Cloudflare may not be the most suitable solution for small websites with little traffic or those that don’t need many advanced features. The platform may be too complex to set up and use without significant technical knowledge or experience and there may be no real benefit to using it on simpler sites.

I am working with a new startup company who is designing an art store for me. Cloudflare is a solution they had me sign up with because Cloudflare has built-in denial-of-service attack protection and it protects the entire network of this company by having all of their clients sign up for it.
  • Cloudflare has built-in denial-of-service attack protection
  • There is a FREE option
  • It's easy to setup
  • Setting up the free plan was confusing
  • Clearer setup directions
Especially if you are unfamiliar with this technical side of running a website, using their DNS services is a really great option. The built-in denial-of-service attack protection is especially appealing and I'm thankful for the availability of a service like this.

Cloudflare has helped make site security and content delivery performance accessible to any business. CloudFlare provides SSL, DDoS production, a content delivery network, caching and performance features and more even on their free plan. On top of the power CloudFlare includes for the price, the setup process is extremely straightforward and fast, and an average developer can configure it in an hour or two. No need for a dev-ops team to spend weeks and a lot more money trying to come up with a similar solution.
  • Easy to implement security and performance features making it a choice for all sites we launch whether they are more static business sites, eCommerce sites, or especially web applications.
  • Low cost and robust free plan make it an easy choice for the peace of mind performance/production it adds with minimal configuration.
  • Gives web applications and websites the infrastructure they want, whether they are big or small.
  • CloudFlare now offers so many features including video streaming and image resizing, that it might be difficult for those who aren't familiar with them to quickly grasp why they need CloudFlare.
We use CloudFlare primarily for its content delivery network and security features like DDoS protection. It's threat blocking and page speed rules also help us maintain the setup we want for our web applications. While we will use it for web applications 100% of the time, we also put at least the free plan on almost all websites we create because it is so quick to implement and still provides great performance and security features.

Before Cloudflare I had to deal with managing security and performance for my various websites which was both cumbersome and time-consuming as well as technically challenging. Although I had heard of Cloudflare's features and capabilities, I never considered implementing their solutions as I thought they were only focused on the large organisations. Boy, was I wrong. Cloudflare is excellent for small businesses and enterprises alike. They have products and solutions fit for any size business, no matter the budget. They enable a-la-cart type acquisition of the features that you need at the scale that you need. Cloudflare is a true partner in delivering performance and security for my websites and I will continue to add functionality as needed.
  • Performance
  • Security
  • Access Filtering
  • Content Delivery
  • Adding more functionality for free user tier
  • More visibility (especially when filtering firewall logs, you can only filter on 24 hours)
Cloudflare is extremely suitable for business of all sizes, from small businesses all the way up to large enterprises. They offer the ability to add functionality as needed without needing to scale by "business size". So you not only get what you pay for, but more. Some functionality is still hidden behind "next grade account levels". They should make this optional and allow small businesses to take the features they need without having to tie themselves into a more expensive "next grade" level of account.

I consult with a number of small businesses that have a web presence. I encourage the use of Cloudflare to prevent malicious web traffic from disrupting their business operations.
  • I no longer have to worry about DDOS attacks.
  • Prevents bots from accessing areas they shouldn't, like login screens.
  • International CDN provides peace of mind when traffic might spike.
  • I am eager to see what they might be able to offer for email security.
  • Some settings appear to be redundant, or the distinction is confusing, such as with firewall rules and page rules.
For CDN, firewalls, and threat management on websites, this is a fantastic tool. It may or may not be appropriate for some web applications (e.g. eCommerce may require special configurations), but for basic websites, Cloudflare is a no-brainer to mitigate threats and offer peace of mind.

Cloudfare is used to cache our websites , It does help us to bring down the load time of the websites. It does have integrated firewall , DNS ,Bot mitigation and DDOS protection. All these are the core pillars of security. It is very easy to use and also have a great customer support. The analytics dashboard which they provide is much useful and easy to understand on various parameters. They do have excellent pricing which is more affordable. The free plan will be useful to experience their service for the first time.
  • DDOS protection
  • CDN helps to cache our websites and speed up the website load time.
  • Bot mitigation
  • Analytic dashboard provide more information on various parameter
  • They do provide good pricing
  • Customer support is good
  • Page rules are bit confusing
  • There are only less features included in free version
  • There are less documentation available online
  • The pricing of pro to bussiness plan is huge
Cloudflare helps us to keep our website safe and secure and it does help to cache our websites to improve loading speed of the websites. We do use reverse proxy setup which gives extra layer of security to our web servers against DDOS attacks. One should undergo some learning curve in order to expertise in this. They also have convenient price structure and free version of product to experience their service.

We are a software company, offering a SaaS. We use Cloudflare to manage our DNS, as CDN to our frontends and also as "firewall" and Web Application Firewall (WAF), against DDoS, SQL injection, bots and other common attacks. Every domain is proxied by Cloudflare to prevent direct access to our services.<br>
  • DNS management
  • Firewall and WAF
  • Anti DDoS
  • Integration with cloud services require technical knowledge.
  • Login require two step code every day. Could save sessions for a longer period.
I would suggest Cloudflare if you need immediate protection against bots and similar attacks. It's very simple to setup. Also, if your cloud provider doesn't offer similar protections, you can configure it to block all traffic, besides from Cloudflare and be even safer.

We recently decided to incorporate Cloudflare into our network attack mitigation efforts. We use applications today and based on one of our Carriers' experiences with a DDoS attack, decided to pursue Cloudflare as another layer of protection at the edge of our network. We are currently deploying their tool and are excited to have Cloudflare's protection as we continue to focus on our customers to use our service.
  • Pricing model is a plus
  • Coverage in numerous Data Centers to limit latency of our traffic will be a great benefit
  • Overall focus in mitigation tools
This is based on the solution being deployed by the main provider to us who implemented additional tools to mitigate an attack and the knowledge we have with our current appliance-based solution to give us that fortified protection at the edge of the network based on case studies and talking with other providers who have implemented the Cloudflare solution.

Cloudflare is our company CDN and is heavily used for all kinds of heavy features like Domain Name Service (DNS) and denial of service protection (DDoS mitigation), Global load balance and traffic analysis, Firewall, and other BOT control solutions. Cloudflare is integrated heavily with our products and it's industry standard for network services. Their services are especially good to avoid vendor lock-in and cloud-agnostic solutions since Cloudflare works well with Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Bot Mitigation.
  • DDoS protection.
  • Globally Load Balanced CDN.
  • Easy-to-use DNS.
  • Node computing.
  • Storage like S3.
Cloudflare is industry standard in web traffic, it provided instant detection and monitoring when Facebook services went down during October 2021 Facebook outage, being able to identify the problem and announce it faster than any other service. We rely heavily on Cloudflare for CDN and DNS services for all our applications, and for Firewall and DDoS/BOT attack detection and mitigation and their solutions have been always fast and reliable.

Our organisation is hosting customers' ERP systems in a private cloud and we use Cloudflare for security reasons, mainly for DDoS protection. Customers are connecting to their ERP system using web clients, so their connections should be secure. We partly use the DNS function of Cloudflare. Also, we use the caching functionality because pages load much faster when taken from the cache.
  • Caching.
  • DDoS protection.
  • More price plans, because there are only a few.
  • Need quite some technical knowledge to set it up.

Right now, we use Cloudflare in all our web solutions, using it primarily as a web firewall, but also to manage our DNS or improve the performance of our webs. Also for giving access to some URLs using multiple methods. The major problem that we have is the security and avoiding attacks that expose our infrastructure to anyone.
  • Web firewall.
  • Great DNS management.
  • Great CDN performance.
  • Wonderfull load balancing.
  • More intuitive firewall rules.
  • Improved statistics.
  • More information about add ons.
Cloudfare is great when you want and need to improve the security of your website, as well as accelerate it. In general, every website must have a higher level of protection that minimizes the exposure of the infrastructure to third parties, and thus, improve security, but also performance. There is no exception for not using Cloudflare since you can host the domain for free and benefit from a level of protection that is impossible to obtain from traditional hosting.

We use Cloudflare for many services both internally and for our customers. The main usage is to speed up the website by using the Cloudflare cache. But we use also some security features such as Cloudflare Access, WAF, and their DDOS protection. Recently, we started to use it also for the registrar of our domains.

In my opinion, Cloudflare should be used for any website, from the smallest to the largest. The features they offer, even only in the free version, are very interesting and allow you to secure - almost - any website quickly and with minimal technical skills. In addition, the caching functions allow us to speed up access to websites by the public while lightening the web servers.
